November 2025

After a needed vacation, I have an exciting announcement! I have secured an editor for Mielea’s Lost. An editor I was watching announced openings, so I jumped on it. The sample edit was the type of feedback I was looking for and felt right for my book. It will be for March 2026 for a developmental edit and copy/line edit combo. Until then, I’m trying not to do any further edits, minus the ones I received from the feedback chapters.

Also, while on vacation, the creative muses decided another WIP needed to be born. For now, it is a three page outline and a few scattered parts of dialogue and character descriptions. Genre wise, it’s looking like a Romantasy, which… is not my normal wheelhouse. For now, it will stay shelved while I work on other WIPs.

The second book of Mielea’s Lost has no new progress. This month, I was making sure I had all the parts written so far in one document. Hopefully, next month, the muses cooperate, and I can make some progress towards it.

Project Phoenix has another four handwritten pages added. The total word count on the Google Doc is 21k, but that is not the final word count. I write faster than I can type most days. Some handwritten pages have not been added to the digital copy yet.

My Urban Fantasy book also has another four handwritten pages added. There is more handwritten progress than there is Google Doc progress. The digital copy is over 2k, but the handwritten one is likely closer to over 10k.

For December, I’m not setting any particular goals. With Christmas coming and having extra guests, I’m unsure how much time I will have.

Next month’s post might be held off until the first couple of days of the new year.

Until then, Happy Holidays!
